Sustainability and climate change are at the heart of our campaign. As a wind-powered sport, ocean racing is intrinsically linked with positive conversations about sustainability, climate change and environmental preservation.
We are purpose-driven and action-focussed. In addition to delivering the first carbon neutral Vendée Globe campaign, we are collecting ocean data to support climate scientists and are using our boat as a platform to test and develop new technologies for sustainable solutions.

To deliver a carbon neutral campaign, ClimatePartner, a leading solution provider for climate action, will help us calculate and reduce emissions generated and compensate unabated emissions through internationally recognised carbon offset projects.

DATA COLLECTION
The Swiss Polar Institute will place cutting-edge science onboard our IMOCA and carry out a robust and innovative data collection campaign during both the training and racing phases of the Vendée Globe challenge between 2023 and 2025.
